Hi, I’m Alora! I am the owner, operator, and primary sitter behind Alora’s Pet and Home Care LLC. I created this business to prioritize not just pet care but peace of mind, reliability, and resources for pet parents. I grew up around animals and as a pet parent myself, I pride my services on integrity and consistency that develops an actual connection with your pets. There is nothing worth more than the set of puppy eyes staring back at you after a hard day, knowing that you are all they have, and working your hardest to provide for them no matter what. I value nothing more than this line of work and absolutely love the experience of meeting all sorts of personalities, whether it’s the pet or the pet parent. With over 8 years of experience, every day is a different blessing waiting to be had, whether it’s a dog who doesn’t have to spend the weekend alone, or a pet parent who can finally go on a stress-free vacation after a long year.

Get To Know Me

Born and raised in North Carolina, I have always been around nature and the outdoors. I turn 21 next year and the older I get, the more I enjoy breathing in the little moments of life. My interests range anywhere from hiking and swimming to music, art, and gaming. I love traveling and learning about different cultures and history and I enjoy researching technology, biology, and neuroscience in my free-time. Animals are a huge love of mine and I’ve always had a passion for them as I do this full-time. We currently live in a house with 2 dogs and 4 cats, so my everyday life is eventful to say the least! However, I wouldn’t trade it for the world and I would love to provide that same compassion for you and your pets.

Hi, I’m Ethan! I will be your stand-in sitter if a situation arises where Alora is unavailable. My role in this business is to ensure that even if Alora isn’t present, your pets will be taken care of. As someone who also grew up surrounded by animals, I have always had a soft spot in my heart for this line of work as my pets are everything to me. I understand how difficult and strenuous finding a sitter can be, especially when the sitter you have found is not freed up, and that is where I come in! I have over 10 years of experience working with not just basic pets but reptiles, rodents, and farm animals as well. I am also well-versed in training and behavioral correction and frequently step in to help out with larger, high-energy dogs. Your pets will always be my priority and I am so thankful to be apart of something that helps pet parents find a sense of comfort when away.

Get to Know Me

I am originally from New York but have spent the majority of my life in North Carolina and absolutely adore nature. Alora and I enjoy a lot of the same hobbies, and being outdoors or around animals is two of them. I went to trade school for welding last year and I now work as a lathe operator for an aerospace company while doing this part-time. I have always enjoyed working with my hands and find welding, fabricating, blacksmithing and general craftsmanship to be very gratifying but I also love working with animals and that sense of knowing when an animal feels safe with you! Living with the same pets as Alora, I do agree that it is eventful, but there’s nothing that beats giving your pet a place to call home.
