  • A booking request is not considered confirmed until Alora’s Pet and Home Care LLC has reviewed the request, confirmed availability, and provided confirmation to the client. Submitting a booking request does not guarantee availability.

  • For recurring, holiday, or extended house-sitting services, clients are encouraged to book as soon as possible, as last minute availability may be limited and is not guaranteed.

  • Holiday rates may apply to services performed during designated holidays or holiday periods. Holiday pricing will be communicated beforehand.

  • Alora’s Pet and Home Care LLC reserves the right to decline a booking for scheduling, safety, compatibility, service-radius, or other related business reasons.

  • These services along with any additional agreed-upon care will be provided according to instructions and information supplied by the client during the booking and intake process.

  • Any services outside the original booking must be discussed and approved in advance and may result in additional charges.

Effective Date: 9/24/2026

Additional Pet & Service Fees

  • Base service rates apply to the number and type of pets specified when the booking is made. Additional charges may apply for:

    • Additional pets

    • Large or extra large dogs

    • Puppies

    • Holiday bookings or extended care bookings

    • Additional or specialized care requirements

    • Other circumstances requiring substantially more time, care or responsibility

  • Any applicable fees will be communicated and agreed to by the client before the booking is finalized wherever reasonably possible.

    Puppies & Special-Care Pets

  • Puppies and pets requiring additional supervision, frequent bathroom breaks, specialized feeding, medication administration, or other additional care may be subject to an additional fee.

  • Clients MUST disclose any relevant behavioral, medical, or developmental needs before services begin. Pets with significant behavioral concerns, aggression, escape behavior, or other safety risks may require additional arrangements or may be declined on a case-by-case basis.

    Large & Extra Large Dogs

  • An additional fee may apply to large and extra large dogs due to the additional physical handling, care, equipment, time, or safety considerations that may be required.

  • The applicable fee is determined based on the dog’s size and care requirements and will be communicated and agreed to by the client before confirmation.

Client Intake and Required Information

  • Before services begin, clients are required to provide accurate and complete information regarding their pets and home. This may include but is not limited to:

    • Pet names, ages, breeds, and approximate weights

    • Behavioral information and any known medical, behavioral or safety concerns

    • Any special instructions necessary for personalized care

    • Veterinary and emergency information

    • Home access and alarm or security protocols

    • Information regarding other people or animals who may access the home

  • Clients are responsible for informing Alora’s Pet and Home Care LLC of any changes to this information before services begin.

  • Failure to disclose relevant behavioral, medical, or safety information may result in cancellation of services and a misinformation fee.

Payment

  • Before confirming a booking during a meet & greet, a 50% deposit is required no matter the full service price. The other half of your service will be due no later than 1 day after the booking has been completed. Late payment, consistent financial misconduct, no-showing or expectations to book without paying will not be entertained.

  • Outstanding balances may result in services being suspended, future bookings being declined, or in serious circumstances, legal action.

  • Personalized rates are final as they are specific to your pet’s needs. Reimbursement is only applicable if prices change with no prior warning as of today’s date.

House-Sitting and Home Access

  • For house-sitting services, clients must provide clear instructions regarding the following:

    • Expected arrival and departure windows

    • Pet routines and feeding schedules

    • Medication instructions

    • Household rules or areas of the home that are off-limits

    • Home access and understanding of security systems or cameras in place

    • Emergency contacts and vet info

  • Alora’s Pet and Home Care LLC provides two care categories for house-sitting; 12 hour care and 24 hour care. House-sitting does not automatically mean the sitter will remain inside the home continuously unless you have specifically booked full-time 24 hour care.

  • The schedule, expectations, and access to property for house sitting is set by the client and will be discussed and confirmed before a booking. Clients are responsible for providing safe and reliable access and may provide access through a key, lockbox, smart lock, door code, or other mutually agreed-upon method.

  • Alora’s Pet and Home Care LLC should be informed of any changes made to access instructions before the scheduled service. If the sitter cannot safely access the property because the client fails to provide working information, the visit may be shortened, delayed, or treated as a completed service depending on the circumstances.

  • Any additional trip required because of incorrect or unavailable access information may result in an additional fee.

Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

  • I understand that plans can change. However, reserved pet-care appointments represent time that has been specifically held for a client and their pets. Clients MUST provide at least 5 days notice to cancel or substantially modify a booking without additional fees.

  • Cancellations made at least 5 days before the scheduled service are eligible for a full deposit refund, subject to any applicable payment-processing restrictions. Cancellations made 3-4 days before the scheduled service are subject to forfeiture of their already paid deposit. Cancellations made 2 days or less before the scheduled service or failure to provide access to the property or pet may be treated as a last minute cancellation and result in full forfeiture of the client’s deposit, as well as 75% of their booking fee.

  • Requests to reschedule are subject to availability. A rescheduling request made fewer than 5 days before the original booking may be treated as a cancellation and new booking. A new booking is not guaranteed until availability has been confirmed.

Home Care and Additional Requests

  • When requested and agreed upon, Alora’s Pet and Home Care LLC may perform basic home-care tasks associated with pet sitting, such as:

    • Bringing in mail

    • Taking out trash

    • Watering plants

    • Rotating lights or dusting

    • Cleaning reasonable pet-related messes

    • Other basic tasks agreed upon before or during the booking

  • These services are intended as basic pet sitting related assistance and do not constitute professional cleaning, maintenance, repair, landscaping, or security services. Additional charges may apply for requests requiring substantial additional time or labor.

Detailed and reasonable care will be taken when caring for pets and accessing a client’s property. However, Alora’s Pet and Home Care LLC is not responsible for any cosmetic or mechanical damage, injury, illness, loss, or other circumstances outside the business’ control.

  • Clients remain responsible for pre-existing property damage, pet behavior, undisclosed hazards, and conditions caused by their pets.

  • Clients are expected to maintain communication and accurate, up-to-date knowledge of their pets and property. In the case of failure to do so, the sitter is not responsible for any changes or issues caused by miscommunication or delayed information relevant to their booking.

  • Nothing in these terms is intended to waive or limit rights or protections that cannot legally be waived under applicable law.

Photos & Updates

  • Alora’s Pet and Home Care LLC may provide clients with photographs, videos, or updates of their pets during services. By submitting a booking request, the client agrees that their pet’s photos are allowed to be publicly used and shared for promotional or social media purposes.

  • Unless separately authorized by the client, client information, addresses, access information, and other private details will not be shared publicly.

    • Extreme temperatures

    • Severe storms

    • Dangerous road conditions

    • Flooding

  • The sitter reserves the right to modify, pause, or discontinue a service if a pet displays behavior that creates an unsafe situation. Examples of this may include:

    • Aggressive behavior

    • Attempting to bite

    • Repeated escape attempts

    • Severe destructive behavior

    • Unsafe interactions with other people or animals

    • Dangerous leash behavior

    • Behavior that puts the sitter, pet, or public at risk

  • Dogs must have appropriate identification and walking equipment when receiving dog-walking services. Clients are responsible for providing properly fitting collars, harnesses, leashes, and any other necessary equipment. Alora’s Pet and Home Care LLC may decline to walk a dog using equipment that appears unsafe, damaged, or improperly fitted.

  • Clients MUST disclose any known history of aggression, biting, escaping, destructive behavior, resource guarding, separation anxiety, or other behaviors that could affect the safety of the sitter or pet. Failure to disclose important information may result in cancellation or refusal of service.

Veterinary and Medication Emergency Authorization

  • Clients are responsible for providing current veterinary and medication information before services begin. In an emergency, Alora’s Pet and Home Care LLC may contact the client’s veterinarian or an appropriate emergency veterinary facility.

  • While reasonable efforts will be made to contact the owner first, the health and safety of the animal may require immediate action. The client agrees to reimburse Alora’s Pet and Home Care LLC for any expenses incurred on the pet’s behalf, including emergency transportation, veterinary care, supplies, or other necessary services. Failure to do so WILL result in legal action.

  • Medication administration must be discussed and approved before the booking. Clients must provide medications in their original packaging wherever possible and provide clear written instructions.

  • Alora’s Pet and Home Care LLC does not perform veterinary procedures or provide medical treatment beyond agreed-upon medication administration. If a pet requires specialized medical care beyond the services we are equipped to provide, the booking may be declined or discontinued.

  • The client fully understands that any situations caused by reactions to medication or underlying health issues is solely the client’s financial responsibility.

Limited Responsibility and Personal Belongings

  • Alora’s Pet and Home Care LLC will make undoubtable efforts to provide professional and responsible care. However, pet care involves inherent risks including illness, injury, escape, behavioral incidents, property damage, and unforeseen circumstances.

  • Clients are responsible for securing valuables, sensitive documents, cash, medications, and other personal belongings before services begin. Alora’s Pet and Home Care LLC is not responsible for loss or damage to personal belongings unless caused by proven negligence or misconduct by the business or its authorized personnel.

  • Nothing in these terms is intended to waive rights or responsibilities that cannot be legally waived under applicable law.
